Anthony is Co-Founder and co-owner of The Rocket Group, which started life as a small architectural design practice operating from his back room. He has a passion for all things property and is an architectural technologist with a background in planning, structural engineering, architecture and building surveying.

Anthony enjoys nothing more than working with existing buildings and bringing them back to life through restoration or conversion. He has been involved with projects ranging from commercial conversions to large holiday parks, and everything in between.

He also develops his own property projects, enabling him to fully appreciate the position of the client when working on other schemes.

As co-Founder and co-owner of The Rocket Group, Craig is responsible for the daily operations and business direction of The Rocket Group, overseeing the development and continued growth of the business across the UK. This ensures that the all the arms of the group work efficiently together. He also retains his position as Managing Director of Rocket Heritage & Archaeology.

Craig has a strong focus on client and stakeholder engagement, working closely with clients and tailoring projects to suit their varying needs. He has significant experience in managing diverse projects from complex, large-scale infrastructure schemes to single properties, and of working on behalf of clients in a variety of sectors.

As a Project Manager, Consultant and archaeologist, has worked across the UK on a variety of site types and ranges of complexity, both within field archaeology and consultancy, and has lived and worked in North and South America.

Operations Director

Natasha is Operations Director and co-owner of The Rocket Group, working to ensure coordinated business processes and high-quality output and contributing to the design and delivery of strategic plans. She is skilled in managing complex and sensitive projects, and successfully negotiating for the client with local planning advisors and advisory bodies.

Natasha has worked throughout the UK and in Germany and Ireland, for commercial companies, charities and museums and as an Associate Director with a large multidisciplinary consultancy, managing the work of their Cultural Heritage teams in Scotland and the north of England.

She has nearly 30 years’ experience in the heritage sector and has worked on major infrastructure projects for clients such as HS2 and National Highways, and residential schemes for Homes England as well as for individual development projects. Natasha provides advice on legal, ethical and practical matters concerning burials, and retains technical oversight of projects as a Director of Rocket Heritage and Archaeology Ltd.

Caroline is an integral part of The Rocket Group and has developed the Rocket Ecology team to provide proportionate advice for the built environment and renewables sector. She specialises in identifying constraints and opportunities for development on green and brownfield sites and has worked on a wide variety of projects covering solar farms, windfarms, battery energy storage systems, rail network, road schemes, large and small scale residential and industrial as well as small scale housing and conversions.

Adam has been working with data and analytics for 20 years including roles as an analyst, developer, consultant, and team lead. he is a long-time user of Microsoft Power BI & attendee of the Newcastle Power BI User Group. His career has seen him work across the financial, social housing, NHS, retail and not-for-profit sectors, including working for St Oswald’s Hospice – Newcastle. He is excited by the stories that effective data analysis can tell and how data reporting can enable you to act decisively, so you can do what you do best, but better! Geordie through and through, Adam is also a Newcastle season ticket holder, heavy metal lover and vinyl collector.

Donna’s main responsibilities are to oversee the Social Media content and to ensure The Rocket Group is visible to our customers. She is from Dundee but has worked in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London. While in London she worked for BAFTA and was the Television Awards Officer and was responsible for all aspects of the Awards process, from Board meetings to ticketing to being hands-on at the Awards ceremony. Since leaving London she has been a stay-at-home mum and worked with the GWCT Scottish Game Fair and Abertay University on their Dare to be Digital initiative. Most recently she has spent 10 years at the Chamber of Commerce and was their People and Culture Manager, not only looking after the people but also the building so it was a comfortable space for their members.
We are sure that the wealth of her working experience will be an asset to The Rocket Group.

Liz has over 18 years of experience within commercial archaeology and environmental consultancy, covering buried archaeology, built heritage and historic landscapes. She is a member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (MCIfA) and sits on their Advisory Council. Liz has produced, overseen and quality assured a wide variety of documents including HIA, desk-based assessments, scoping reports, cultural heritage chapters for EIA, and Environmental Assessment Reports (EAR). Her experience crosses a broad spectrum of sectors including infrastructure, housing and public realm and between 2017 and 2023 Liz was Deputy Technical Lead for Historic Environment for HS2 Phase 2B.

David is an experienced Ecologist with 17 years’ professional experience. As Regional Director, he is responsible for overseeing and developing our southern services and growth.

David is recognised by Natural England for technical competence with great crested newts through their GCN Low Impact Class licence, one of only 90 ecologists in the UK to hold such accreditation, water vole, one of only a small number of ecologists to hold the CL31 displacement class licence in the UK and, rare reptiles. This specialist protected species recognition combined with ecological management and involvement in the largest projects in UK/Europe demonstrates the expertise brought to any development worked on, large or small. Of note, being the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, largest example of habitat creation in Europe in 150yrs (at that time). Barking Riverside, UK’s largest ever T&C planning application. The largest Air Turbine site in Europe (at that time) and, Cleve Hill Solar Park currently the UK’s largest approved solar DCO.

The variety of sectors and projects worked on has provided a wide array of practical experience in Ecology & Environmental legislation, site assessments, species surveys, impact assessment and mitigation design/licensing across the UK. Experience he is always looking to share with colleagues and clients alike.

Regional Director, Scotland

Greg oversees the growth and development of Rocket Group’s Scottish offering, overseeing multidisciplinary teams and business development. He is a Glaswegian economist and academic, who holds a PhD for his research on the macroeconomic consequences faced by countries that rely for their income on exporting their exhaustible natural resources, notably oil and gas. Having held lectureships at several universities, most recently in Qatar for Aberdeen University, Greg has also worked in oil-abundant sub-Saharan countries, delivering ‘crash-courses’ on oil and gas economics to civil servants, government officials, investors and university students.

Apart from oil and gas, he has undertaken and supervised a variety of commercial research projects, proposals and impact studies for a diverse client base that includes charities, boutique whisky businesses and private education providers and, having spent ten years lecturing at Dundee’s Abertay University, he has a long-standing research and advisory involvement in Dundee’s video games industry.
